Collaboration agreement between FELIB and AENOR

2016-06-03

The Federación de Entidades Locales de les Illes Balears (FELIB) and AENOR have signed an agreement for the development and promotion of the culture of quality among local entities in the Balearic Islands. The agreement was signed between the Chairman of FELIB, Joan Carles Verd and the Director of AENOR in the Balearic Islands, Soledad Seisdedos, on behalf of the Managing Director of AENOR, Avelino Brito, within the framework of a recent seminar in which the Spanish Standard UNE 93200 on Client Service Charters was presented.

Through this agreement, the entities of the Federation will have access, with advantageous conditions, to technical standards, training activities and software for the CERTOOL management systems. Both entities will also hold seminars on topics of common interest.

Furthermore, the Chief Auditor at AENOR in the Balearic Islands Delegation, Diana Ramón, presented the Service Charter certification, in accordance with the Spanish Standard UNE 93200, which accredits the commitment of the Public Administrations and private companies to comply with the established parameters in their Service Charters.

This standard specifies the minimum requirements for the content of Service Charters and the process of preparing, monitoring and revising them. These Charters have become one of the tools most frequently used by both Public Administrations and private companies to notify users of the services they provide and the commitments they assume in the provision of these services, thus making a fundamental contribution to the modernisation of the management of numerous organisations.
