Deutz, certified in Anti-bribery and Compliance

Deutz Spain has been awarded AENOR certifications for Anti-bribery Management Systems and Criminal Compliance Management Systems, making it the first organisation to achieve the double certification.

For the certification based on UNE-ISO37001 Standard Anti-bribery Management Systems. Requirements with guidance for use, the following, among other aspects, were verified and tested: commitment and leadership of the governing body and senior management with the anti-bribery management system; the financial and commercial controls; the process of due diligence for projects and associated elements; and information and research procedures.

The UNE-ISO 37001 standard offers a series of practical international improvements that may be adopted, in a proportional and reasonable manner, to prevent, detect and manage criminal behaviour of bribery, voluntarily complying with legislation and other commitments.

Furthermore, the Criminal Compliance certification is based on the UNE 19601 standard Criminal Compliance Management Systems. Requirements and guidelines for use. In it, requirements for implementing, maintaining and continually improving a criminal compliance management system in organisations are established, with the aim of preventing the perpetration of criminal offences within the organisation and reducing criminal risk through pushing for a culture of ethics and compliance.

In addition, this standard develops requirements that respond to the provisions of the Penal Code for criminal offence management models and prevention, also incorporating globally accepted good practices with regard to compliance.

Deutz Spain is a German multinational company belonging to the Deutz AG group, specialising in the assembly of industrial engines. It also deals with motor sales, original spare parts and the DEUTZ service in Spain and Portugal.
