2017-09-04

The Casa de Moneda (Chile mint) and Central Bank of Chile have been awarded the Information Security Management System certification; Similarly, the Casa de Moneda has received the Gender Equality and Conciliation of Working, Family and Personal Life seal; and the bank was awarded the Business Continuity Management System certification, respectively.

The Information Security Management System certification is based on the ISO 27001 standard. It establishes the requirements for establishing, implementing, maintaining and continually improving an information security management system; in addition to the requirements for the processing of information security risks, in accordance with the needs of each organisation.

The Gender Equality and Conciliation of Working, Family and Personal Life seal is based on the Chilean technical standard NCh 3262. This includes fundamental principles such as equal rights and opportunities, and promotion of gender equality; and changes of organisational, cultural and securities systems.

Similarly, the Environmental Management System Certificate is based on the international standard ISO 22301. This provides organisations with the ability to resist the effects of an incident; foresee any circumstances caused by a crisis situation; and provides them with a structured methodology to resume normal activities after an interruption.
