The new profile of the Quality Director: From being very technical and focusing on product control, today this manager is involved in the organisation's strategy.

New food certification requirements: The BRC, IFS, and FSSC 22000 schemes are being adapted to confront the new risks emerging in the food chain.

Animal well-being and free-range milk: Two new AENOR certificates: commitment to sustainability and social responsibility.

Application of the EMAS Regulations in the tourism sector: The European Commission's Sectoral Reference Document includes the best environmental management practices for a wide variety of tourist activities.

New structure of the Spanish Association for Standardisation, UNE: To increase the Company's efficiency, the operations are divided into three areas: Standardisation and Stakeholder programmes; Processes and technology; and Cooperation and International Relations.

Interview - Sergio Mujica, Secretary General of ISO: Took the position in July 2017. Believes firmly that standards contribute value to the economy, society, and international trade.
